Analytics cookies
I use Google Analytics to understand (in a privacy-friendly way) how people read this blog - for example which
pages are visited and how long they are read.
You can accept analytics cookies or decline and browse without tracking.
Analytics cookies - details
I use Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to get simple statistics about how this blog is used. This
helps me understand what content is useful and improve the site.
What it measures
Google Analytics may collect information such as:
- Pages you visit and how you navigate the site
- Time spent on pages
- Approximate location (country or region)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- Referral source (e.g. search engine or external link)
I do not use this data for advertising and I do not try to identify individual visitors.
IP anonymization
IP anonymization is enabled, which means your IP address is shortened before it is stored or processed.
Data transfers
Because Google operates globally, analytics data may be processed outside the EU (including in the United
States). Google applies appropriate legal safeguards for such transfers.
Legal basis
Analytics cookies are used only with your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
Comments (giscus / GitHub)
This blog uses giscus for comments, which is powered by GitHub Discussions.
When the comment section is loaded, your browser connects to GitHub servers. To post a comment or reaction,
you need a GitHub account and you may be asked to authorize the giscus application.
Comment content and your GitHub username may become publicly visible on GitHub.
Change your mind anytime
You can withdraw your analytics consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.
